Described by International Piano Magazine as “one of the most gifted pianists of his generation.” After winning 1st prize at the Alkan-Zimmerman International Piano Competition in Athens in 2012, his career has taken him across much of Europe as well as North and South America. He has a particular interest in 19th Century and early 20th Century piano muisc, is President of the Alkan Society, and has made numerous CDs of music by Charles-Valentin Alkan, Cécile Chaminade, Felix Blumenfeld and Franz Liszt.
