The SALOMÉ STRING QUARTET is a multinational ensemble formed in 2016 by four prizewinning students of the Royal College of Music in London: Haim Choi (South Korea), Ines Delgado (Portugal), Kasia Ziminska (Poland) and Shizuku Tatsuno (Japan). The musicians have performed worldwide in venues including Muzikverein (Vienna), Mozarteum (Salzburg), Unesco Hall (Paris), Lutoslawski Concert Studio (Warsaw), Tel Aviv Opera House (Israel), as well as Wigmore Hall, Barbican Centre, Southbank Centre, Royal Albert Hall and Cadogan Hall in London. The quartet won all the prizes for string quartet at the RCM and was invited as Quartet in Residence at the Oundle School.
THOMAS KELLY who gave an outstanding concert last year at NNMF still only 21 years old continues to go from strength to strength. Romanian pianist ANA MANASTIREANU is currently a Masters of Performance student at the RCM and in 2019 was a Leeds Lieder Young Artist. Ana’s international competition successes include top prizes at the “Rosario Marciano” International Piano Competition in Austria and the “Carl Filtsch” International Piano Competition in Romania. She appeared recently at the Toronto Summer Music Festival, Orford Music Festival, SoNoRo Chamber Music Festival, British Isles Music Festival, Vienna International Pianists Festival and the George Enescu International Festival.
