Equally at home as a recitalist and soloist, Lisa has worked with many distinguished conductors and has an extensive discography.
Her programme includes two powerful songs by Purcell, arranged by Britten and Tippett, ‘The Blessed Virgin’s Expostulation’ and ‘Mad Bess’, Debussy’s sensuous ‘Chanson de Bilitis’, three songs by her compatriot James Macmillan’s shattering ‘The Children’ and three Ophelia songs by Richard Strauss. Quilter’s When Soft Music Dies, set to words by Percy Bysshe Shelley complete Lisa’s wide-ranging and emotionally-charged recital.
