PianistTim Horton is well known to NNMF audiences as a solo performer and in collaboration with other musicians as a member of both the Leonore PianoTrio and Ensemble 360. We are delighted to welcome him back for two concerts this year.
In this first concert he offers the audience a chance to compare and contrast Ballades by Brahms and Chopin, as well as to hear Brahms’ vigorous first piano sonata written in 1853 when he was only twenty.
