FESTIVAL INFORMATION
FOOD AND ACCOMMODATION
Festival Suppers in the Festival Marquee Two course buffet suppers will be served from 5.45pm from 10-16 August by the chefs and staff from Back To Your Place, Byfords, the well-known local caterer based in Holt.
SUPPERS MUST BE PREBOOKED The buffet, which will be served by staff, will include a selection of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes with salads, bread, olive oil for dipping and olives followed by a choice of two desserts. As many audience members like to dine at the Festival more than once, dishes will change daily. Dietary requirements and details of any allergies must be given at the time of booking.

FESTIVAL BAR Our friendly and expertly managed Festival Bar will be available each evening from 5pm and during the interval of the evening concerts. A selection of wines, available by the glass or bottle, has been carefully selected by the NNMF Directors! Locally brewed beers from The Real Ale Shop at Holkham and a range of soft drinks will also be available.
BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC The audience may picnic in the church yard by kind permission of the Vicar and the churchwardens. You may bring your own wine but you can also buy wines from our Festival Bar – this helps toward the costs of hiring the marquee every year!
TOILETS are provided in the churchyard by NNMF.
CAR PARKING On-road parking near the church is strictly limited so we provide a large car park next to the church thanks to an agreement with the friendly farmer, Ben Sexton. There is limited parking for disabled members of the audience (please do book your space with us in advance) who can access the church via the Chancel entrance. Volunteers from the church will be on hand to provide assistance.
SEATING AT THE CONCERTS Seating is unreserved (N.B. Concert Supporters have allocated seats) and cushions are available to hire from the church on arrival at £1 per cushion. This raises funds for St Mary’s and is additional income to the donation made by NNMF, which in 2023 amounted to £3,300.
PROGRAMMES to all the concerts are provided free thanks to a donation from a long-standing Friend of the Festival.
THE FUTURE OF THE NORTH NORFOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL
No, we are not giving up, just changing venue, format and timing! During the next 12 months, as well as our usual Winter Series, there will in fact be two NNMFs, both quite a bit shorter than the usual summer festival, but even more action packed. Both will be held at Wells Maltings, where we will take over all three spaces.
NNMF Part 1: Friday 12 – Sunday 14 December 2025
WINTER SERIES: Sunday 11 January, 8 February, 8 March 2026
NNMF Part 2: Thursday 14 – Sunday 17 May 2026
